EMERALD CITY COMIC CON 08
Well Im back from the Seattle convention. I really enjoyed the whole trip. It was amazing to see how many people were there just to support the comic artists. That part was truly inspiring because its not often you get to feel appreciated being a part of this whole wacky experience. Im humbled and encouraged.
I went with my brosef and partner in hustling, Gabe Bautista. We met up with the classiest of class gents, Justin Norman, and proceeded to tell Seattle who was boss. We also were greeted by Seattle's finest, Brandon Graham and his girl Marian Churchland. They showed us what they've been working on lately (King City 2 and Conan) and blew our socks right off. Later we saw a whirlwind of delight known as Corey Lewis and he knocked us out with his in-progress Sharknife Double-z pages. If you had a straw, you could have sucked the comics energy right from the air.

I drank that milkshake. I drank it up.

Later on, after we all parted ways, I went out to see my sister, brother-in-law and their new little baby(my nephew). I really wish I just had more time to spend with them, but soon enough it was time to go back.
The wife and kids met me at the airport and it was like sunshine and happyness after a day of solid crappy travel.
Hope I can make it next year - you stay classy Seattle!!!

Hi Andre`, this is Nam. The last minute commission. Thanks so much for your time and being such a cool guy. It was my fourth time but the girlfriend's first and she loved watching art come to life. I'm gonna keep my eye on your blog and your work.
