I've been going back lately and buying some of the Paul Pope comics I wasn't smart enough to scoop up when they came out. Whenever I can afford to, anyway. Its great stuff. I own all the giant sized issues now, and I just get jazzed up reading them.Anyway, I did this as a warm up on one of the comic pages I am working on right now. One of my goals this year is to focus on getting my inking better. That's to say nothing of my drawing! You never stop learning.

Very nice. The man is definitely a master of the brush. He's got some interesting thoughts on the subject of inking, very cerebral about it. Being able to study under him and actually watch him for 3 weeks was the single greatest lesson I've ever had in comics. I was scared shitless of the brush before hand, and now I can't use anything else.
