Samples. Most people who draw comics for a living do this at one point in their lives. In case you couldn't tell from the rest of my blog, I have always like drawing Robin and his latest incarnation, Red Robin.

I've been looking at a bunch of Jack Kirby stuff lately for some Elephantmen pages I have to do. I have to say, I've never been a fan, but now that I have been studying his work, its really growing on me. There is this power in his pages that projects the sort of drama that is needed in a comic. I know my own stuff could use the kind of momentum and interest his art generated.
Ouchie, one to the jaw with an impossibly stretched leg. Seriously thats some agility right there. Oh well. I always thought Batman had his bat-undies in a bunch sometimes.
When they made Tim Drake the new Robin it was the coolest thing ever to read in a comic. I really grew attached to this character growing up in high school. I think it felt like he was a superhero I could be too if I only worked hard enough. Now not so much, but back then I could really relate to him.
